In collaboration with the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Forestry Research and Training (UWIFoRT), we have established two high-altitude farms to research the domestication of critically endangered Jatmansi. Following successful germination trials in 2024, full-scale field trials are now rolled out at both sites in Merak and Naro. Upon successful trials, organic cultivation of the plant will be scaled in selected highland communities with a secured market for the essential oil distilled from this plant.
